Rules and Regs
We are a club registered with the MSA and abide by their rules and regulations, however members should be aware of the following points when coming along to our events. This list is not comprehensive and if any member is in any doubt they should read their own copy of the full regulations or contact the Club Secretary for a new copy (a small charge may be made for this)
All drivers must have a full, UK driving licence
All vehicles must be of sound construction and be in a safe condition - we would recommend being MOT's taxed and insured
each occupant must have their own seat and wear seatbelts
Drivers are responsible for the behaviour of their passengers
Members are responsible for the behaviour of their guests
A blanket speed limit of 15mph is in force at all SWATC events (except where events include the Queen's highways where statutory limits would be in force)
The following are not required but are recommended for many sites.
Mud tyres
recovery straps
Rollcage
winch
bridging ladders
KERR or bungee recovery ropes
Some sites we visit have special requirements and whilst we endeavour to provide such information in advance of the date, the Club cannot be held liable for losses etc caused by conditions imposed by the landowner.
